Dhaka wickets actually favor spinners, and a little bit of dew at night means that the team winning the toss expects to bat second. As July weather brings high humidity, the evening dew is likely to have an impact on bowling.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS
Pakistan dominates in T20s against Bangladesh with 16 wins out of 19, and the recent clean sweep has definitely boosted the confidence of the team. The strong bench, along with new coaches and new strategies, makes this team comfortable heading into the series.
Bangladesh will utilize home conditions, a big fan crowd, and other significant factors. Litton Das, Mustafizur Rehman, and other experienced players will play key roles for their team, especially with fast bowling, which will make them feel more confident and increase expectations to win the series.
LONG TERM VISION:
For both teams, this is not just a bilateral series, but this is actually a good preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2026. Young cricketers will have a good chance to perform well for the team and be prepared for the upcoming tournaments. This short but crucial three-match T20I series (20–24 July) in Dhaka will:
- Build momentum for upcoming tournaments like the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
- Spotlight young talent and let teams test new game strategies.
- Reignite the exciting cricket rivalry between Pakistan and Bangladesh, loved by fans across South Asia.
